About This Project

Mundo Latino Notary is a New York based notary service supporting the Latino community with document authentication, legal forms, and other notarial services. Their website is the primary acquisition channel for the business, with new clients reaching them through search, paid campaigns, and direct referrals.

When Mundo Latino approached Menta, they had an existing WordPress and Elementor site that no longer reflected the level of customization they wanted, lacked the technical foundation for organic positioning, and could not host the per-service content structure they had in mind. The redesign needed to support ten distinct services, a CMS-driven promotional section the internal team could update without development support, and full English and Spanish parity across the site.

Menta delivered a full design and Webflow build with bilingual implementation, ten service-specific landing pages with per-section custom layouts, and a CMS-driven promotional section the client team could manage autonomously. The site launched with the technical fundamentals in place to support organic and paid acquisition strategies. After launch, the client moved the site to WordPress to align with their external marketing partner's preferred platform. The transition surfaced a recurring pattern worth naming openly: when the development team and the marketing team work in different platforms, the client eventually has to choose. The strongest outcomes come from aligning both functions on a shared technical foundation from the start, which is exactly the kind of long-term partnership Menta is built to provide.

The Challenge

CHALLENGE 1

Cross-Timezone Project Coordination

The project required coordination between the client team in New York and the Menta team operating from Australia and Bali, with a time difference that effectively eliminated real-time overlap during the working week. Without a structured workflow, the gap would have slowed feedback cycles and pushed delivery dates.

CHALLENGE 2

SEO-Ready Technical Foundation

The client's business depends heavily on organic search and paid acquisition. The new site needed to be built with the technical fundamentals in place from day one: clean semantic markup, fast page loads, proper metadata structure, schema where appropriate, and a content architecture that could grow without breaking URL or hierarchy.

CHALLENGE 3

Per-Service Custom Layouts From a Shared CMS

The client's ten services each required a different page layout to communicate their specific value proposition effectively. Hardcoding ten separate pages would have created a maintenance burden, while forcing all services into a single template would have flattened the differences. The CMS had to support visual variation without sacrificing centralized content management.

Our Approach

Solution 1

Documentation-First Asynchronous Workflow

Loom recordings replaced live walkthroughs at each milestone, allowing the client to review deliverables at their own pace and respond at the start of their day with the team's day ending. Major decisions were scheduled at the limited overlap windows. This pattern kept feedback cycles within 24 hours throughout development.

Solution 2

Technical SEO Implementation at Build Time

Every page was structured with accessible markup, optimized image delivery, descriptive meta tags, and a clear URL hierarchy. The CMS was set up so the client team could update meta titles, descriptions, and page content independently without compromising SEO consistency. While the day-to-day SEO and SEM campaigns sat outside Menta's scope, the technical foundation was built to support whatever campaign work would run on top.

Solution 3

Custom JavaScript Layer Over a Single CMS Collection

A custom JavaScript layer was implemented to read each service's metadata and apply different visual presentations from a shared CMS collection. The client team can edit any service's content from one place, while the rendered page adopts the layout assigned to that service. This kept maintenance simple while preserving the design differentiation each service needed.
